3D Design - The Vench - Nested Workbenches

Very happy to have been involved with such a lovely project - 'Revamp the Vench!' - a joy to work for such a valuable organisation within Bristol's Lockleaze community - The Vench - Lockleaze Adventure Playground. I was asked to design and make a nested group of workbenches to follow the sustainable principles of the organisation and make best use of the space. Below you can see how I have made use of the 'Augmented Reality' features within sketchup to visualise my design within the space.

I designed these nesting workbenches in Blender and Sketchup (drawings here) to make sure everything would fit. Once happy, I was then able to create a cutting list from this design (using Sketchup's handy measure facilities for the trickier angles) and source the wood entirely from the Bristol Wood Recycling Project.
